I used to volunteer at my local SPCA where I met my VERY BAD
kitty. He was really little at the time and I was cleaning all
the cat cages. The five kitten litter he was in hadn't been old
enough to allow to roam (too likely they would get hurt), and
when cleaning their cage, they had to be put into another cage.
When they were now big enough to roam, I was told they would
probably be scared and hide. I'd have to find them when I was
done cleaning.
Three of the kittens did exactly that. One was so scared she
just shook and wouldn't move. I had to put her into another
cage. Then there was Trent. Upon leaving his cage, he ran right
over to a rabbit's cage and slapped the rabbit. When it would
move to get away, he'd go where it was and slap it again. I'd
take him away from it and he'd run back over and slap it again.
I FINALLY got him to leave it alone. Then he went to the other
cat cages and found any cat that would hiss at him and he'd
reach in the cage and slap them. I fell in love with this evil
little creature and brought him home.
Seven years later. He torments my older cat nonstop. He even
gets the dog (pit bull) in on these games. One will chase the
old cat to the other one, who will then chase her in the
opposite direction. Trent wakes me up at three in the morning by
knocking anything he can find onto my head. If there isn't
anything, claws to my face work just as well. Sometimes, he bats
glasses or anything breakable off of the counter. After it
breaks, he looks down at it and saunters away.
When he's outside, he kills mice, opossums, rabbits, snakes,
moles, birds, etc.. Basically, if he can, he'll kill it. In all
honesty, everyone who's met him says he's the worst behaved cat
they've ever seen.
