When I first got Tink, she decided she needed to get fed at 2
AM every morning, even on weekends. She would leap onto the bed
and meow the most awful sounding belly whines I have ever heard.
I wanted my sleep and slid her onto the floor. If she didn't get
the result she wanted, she would stand outside my (open) bedroom
door and meow. It response, I would toss something handy at the
door and chase her away, usually a pillow.
She now has adopted a fool proof method for getting me out of
bed. She stands in my bathroom near my bedroom and meow from
inside. The acoustics are much better in there, and much louder!
She waits until I get out of bed and runs to her bowl.
I put the bell on her because she runs up behind you and
executes a hit and run attack. Now she hides near the dining
room table for you to walk by so there is no warning.
