Thomas really is a mean cat.   Whenever you go to stroke him, he will quite happily sit and be admired for a few seconds, and then without any warning he will turn and bite you in the hand.  Once he even bit me on the head. 

His favourite trick is sitting on the outside of the cat flap so that our other cat can't get out, or sitting on the inside of the cat flap for a variation, so that she can't get in.  He eats from a dog bowl and refuses point blank to wear a flea collar.  We got one round his neck once, but he ran out of the house in a huff, only to return 10 minutes later with an incredibly smug look, minus the collar. 

Thomas really is an enormous cat.  Our vet says he's the biggest cat he's ever seen, but I for one am not going near him with a tape measure!  He loves to rub against your legs, almost knocking you over with the weight of him.
