What makes Stubby so mean?
I would like to submit a photo of Stubby. He
is a bobtailed Manx, 13 years old altered male.
I got Stubby when he was exactly 5 weeks
old, he was too young to be weaned, and he quickly became
quite attached to me.
When he was shy of his first birthday, he
went potty in the closet. I took him to be neutered and
that was the end of my sweet kitty. He is now a vicious
hate monger most of the time. We still have our tender
moments and he loves my spouse, but he has vicious
tendencies which cannot be tamed. I have to warn strangers
who come to our house to let him approach them as he has
been known to attack people when they reach for him. Once I
spotted him halfway up the stairs, claws fully extended,
reaching for the head of a maintenance man who was standing
there talking to me. I have had to change vets several
times and he is labeled as a mean kitty on his records.
