What makes Skeeter so mean?

Skeeter is a 14lb. long haired Siamese. His preferred activity is sleeping, getting up to walk 5 feet, then collapsing in a stupor again. He also likes to bat at Pooky and hates to be touched anywhere south of his front shoulders. He likes to be petted but bites if you don't do it right, then waits to be petted some more. He sees nothing unusual in this behavior.
