This sure is a nice black article of clothing I'm hunched
upon.
Oh dear, I think I feel a hairball coming on.

What makes Simba so mean?
When I was young, my
mother was a receptionist at a veterinary clinic where Simba
was dumped on the front steps as a kitten no more than 5
weeks old. The vet kindly let Simba, whom I had named after
my fondness for The Lion King, stay at the clinic until I
had convinced my mother to let me take him home. After much
pleading, she agreed. My mother and I attended to this
little kitten's every needs - we bottle fed him, protected
him from the dogs who would have gladly used him as a chew
toy. So what was our reward?A meankitty!
A few of Simba's (who I should have named Scar) favorite
pastimes include: stalking his humans down the hall and
scratching our legs to pieces, throwing up hairballs on
important documents and especially nice clothing, and the
dangerous 'leg slalom' game.
In fact, the only human in the household that Simba feels
affection for is my father. Simba follows him around night
and day, crying to be picked up and petted. Or fed. Either
is good, but both at the same time is preferable.
