What makes Shadow so mean?

Actually Shadow is a pretty sweet cat.  She is kind of shy and meek.  But she has this one bad habit that makes her a meankitty.  She is a dirty cat.

Shadow will roll in any dirt she can find.  She rolls in leaves, as you can see here, she rolls in dust, she rolls in the dirt I have just swept up on the floor, and she even rolls in mud.  She's weird.  I am embarrassed when people who don't "know" about Shadow pet her because then their hand comes away filthy.
