What makes Schmoolet so mean?
My
mom rescued this abandoned Schmoo when she was 10 days
old, and I'm the one who raised her and bottle-fed her. As a
result she likes me, and only
me.
She's highly intelligent, has a well-developed
sense of cause and effect, and firmly believes in
punishment. But only when she's the one doling it out. Crimes against the Schmoo will not be
forgiven until you get a smack. Once smacked, you're
done and life will go on. But there will be a smack,
and she will remember the issue until it is resolved.
She's been known to get up into people's faces and
then smack them for the crime of not being me. And
for petting her, that's a heinous crime against the Schmoo--which is tough on visitors, because she's cute and
tiny and her intense evil streak doesn't show. Other
punishable offenses include not
turning on the faucet for her, being on the other side
of a closed door from her (even if you're going to get
smacked for not being me), and daring to tell her
"no." She really hates that. It's a double-smack
crime. She's young yet, but I strongly believe that
she's working on her plan for Schmoo-centered,
dictatorial world domination.
