Well, heck, would you want people calling YOU Ruffles?  I mean, that's a potato chip.  Chips are for eating, then puking up.

What makes Ruffle so mean?

This is my mean kitty, Ruffle, and she is about 16 years old. She's always been mean. She bites and scratches when she is the least bit displeased, which is often. She can let out a growl that would rival a bear.

She gets especially mean when people call her "Ruffles" instead of Ruffle. Recently, she has decided that the rug in front of the sink in the bathroom is HERS and she will draw blood in defending her territory.
