Poly has had a difficult life. She was declawed and then abandoned on the mean streets of upper Manhattan. So when I first invited her to live in my home, I wasn't surprised she was so cranky. I figured she'd come around. 

Well, it's been over two years and this delightful extra-toed mutant is meaner than ever. You see how pretty she is--you'd never know how cruel she can be. She bites every human who attempts to pet her. She boxes and swats. She bit the tail of the nicest cat in the house (Henrey) so hard that he had to get stitches. The vet thought he was going to lose the tail! She knocks over plants. She yells and hisses at her brothers Henrey and Mungo in the middle of the night, waking up everyone. She never apologizes. One vet even recommended putting her on psychiatric medication.
