What makes Momo so mean?
Momo is a two-year-old Torby--a tabby/tortoiseshell
kitten with remarkably symmetrical markings, despite the fact
that her fur has different-colored blotches. Unfortunately,
she's not only beautiful, she's pretty mean.Chris got her at the
Humane Society when she weighed only six pounds. She had major
digestive (read: runny poo) problems, and her toots would wilt
your nose hair. After a few months of Chris's love (and endless
cat food), Chris realized it was time to put her on a diet since
she was changing from Momo into Momomomomomo!
Now she thinks her owner is mean for not feeding
her—he's trying to get her back down to about eight pounds—and
she expresses her displeasure often! She is a very talkative
little girl, whose vocalizations include "Feed me," "I'm
starving," "I'm wasting away," "Feed me more," "You hate me,"
and "I've never been fed in my whole life ever!"
Momo likes to stand in the tub, outside the shower
curtain, while her owner Chris takes a shower. She also bites
and attacks, and as a result her owner and his friend have many
scars on their hands and arms to show how much they love her.
When Momo is frisky, she chases her fake rat, puffs out her tail
and gallops around the room sideways. Her favorite place is on
top of a perch her owner spent $200 and 20 hours to make.
We also tell Momo jokes:
Q: What do you get when you put Momo on a Xerox machine?
A: Mo. Mo. Mo. Mo. Mo.
Q: What do you see when a herd of Momos is running away from
you?
A: Mo-lasses.
