What makes Miss Kitty so mean?
This mild looking kitty is Miss Kitty. She is the
meanest of the mean. She's a one-person
cat and if you're not that person she'll let you know. For the first two
years of her life my husband couldn't have bare ankles and God forbid he
try to put on some pants. The joy of Miss Kitty is that she's not only
mean, she's incredibly angry too. If she doesn't get what she wants, she
knocks over the bathroom trashcan. She's loud, she cleans all
of herself except her rear end, she won't eat the same food two days in
a row, she only drinks water fresh from a running tap and she
bites,
constantly. She is the lead in a two-cat show that my mother refers to as
Piss and Vinegar. The second is a meek slip of a cat named Loki, who Miss
Kitty usually goads into trouble.
