What makes Menace so mean?
From the day she
arrived, she has been a mean
kitty. The breeder tried to talk me out of her over the phone,
saying, "Oh...well she is sweet. But her sister just loves
to be petted, much more than the one you have chosen!" But I
still wanted her. I soon discovered that not only was my little
Manx's stubby tail crooked, but so was her personality. She is
a beautiful cat. But what a crab!!
She hates being held. Goes insane when she is restrained. And
when I took her to the Veterinary School to be spayed, she
scared the vet students so badly that they were afraid to touch
her.
But I love my "Menace" just the same. We have grown
to understand each other. And I know that I must accept my
scratches and bites when I violate the rules...even if they
change from day to day.
