What makes Jerry so mean?

Jerry, who is sadly no longer with us, lives on here in the Meankitty annals.  The former housemate of the original Meankitty, Jerry was a big fatty who sometimes took violent offense to being brushed, as you can see here.  He also thought he deserved a large portion of anything you were eating and checked everything he didn't recognize to see if it might be edible.

The second photo is Jerry getting in the way when I was trying to take a picture of something for a friend. Move it, cat!
