Cameras don't capture one's soul.  Humans are so superstitious and weird. In reality
I'm about to wander over to the couch and scratch the heck out of it. Human blood
makes my beautiful fur dull and lifeless.

What makes Gertie so mean?

Gertie is about to jump up and bite my face for daring to take her picture. Drawing my blood will give her back her soul that the camera took away.
