What makes Cleo (2) so mean?
Cleo is the queen of all cats. She might look
small (if you ignore her bulging, floor-dusting gut) but she is
big on MEAN. Cleo spends most of her day lounging in the bathroom
because she would never want to socialize with the likes of two
dogs who live in her house. Cleo comes out only to sit in the
window after the dogs have gone to bed or to sleep. It all seems
sweet at first--she purrs and snuggles us--but as soon as my
boyfriend falls asleep she attacks his head, biting, clawing. She
even puts her huge stomach over his face, probably in an attempt
to suffocate him.
If she is hungry early in the morning and he
doesn't feed her on schedule she will draw blood. If her litter
box isn't as clean as she likes it, she puts our clothes in the
box and uses them instead. She even sits on the toilet when we
come in to use and looks very menacing.
Cleo often bites me while I'm petting her, not
hard enough to bleed but hard enough to be considered rude and if
I stop she scratches me and then sits by me looking innocent and
pitiful. Cleo is nice to strangers and never bites them.
