I actually found her on the internet. There was a site that told you where to find pets in your area that people wanted to give away. I was looking for a calico kitten and there she was, no picture, but advertised an 8 week old kitten. So I drove 40 minutes to meet the people who were giving her away, and there she was, the cutest little kitten. I got her that night and poor little Cali smelled AWFUL. My baby had been living in a barn and smelled very much like it. So first stop was to get so kitty shampoo and give her a BATH. The next morning was her first vet visit where the vet told me that she only weighed a whopping 3/4 of a pound and was at best 5 weeks old. So for the next 3 weeks I had to make sure she had soft and solid mixed food.

INTRODUCTION TO MEANNESS:

About 2 weeks after she came home I got my first dose of mean kitty! One night she walked right up to me and attacked my eye!!! OWWW!!!!

Then my roommate got a dog. Cali was NOT happy about this other animal coming into her domain. Most of the time she hid to avoid the overactive puppy. However, her favorite thing to do was hide under the stairs where there was a tiny hole into the living room. She would stick her paws through it, attracting the dog. He would then rip the carpet in that area up. Needless to say, due to the many ways she teased him, our townhouse sustained A LOT of damage.

PRESENT:

More and more she did other things to annoy me which include, but were are limited to:

1. Jumping on the bed when I'm in the middle of making it.

2. Not letting me go to the bathroom without her in there. 

3. Jumping on tables, counters, and on the top of the fridge.

4. Attacking the fake tree.

5. And last but not least the meanest thing she does is drink out of my glasses and tea and knocking over any beverages that are not tea!!!
