What makes Bundles so mean?
We have four cats, and Bundles is the first, who arrived as a starved, homeless kitten who followed our neighbor home from a walk. He is not like this now, though. He is our biggest and tallest cat whose head is as big as your hand, stands a foot at the shoulder,
and is over 30 inches long, including his tail. He is a weird cat, whose nose changes color and has been seen playing in water.
Up until he was 2 he was as sweet as can be, but after we got one of our other cats, Jet,
he became mean. The day Jet came Bundles decided to play dog and run Jet up a tree. Being the dominant male, he has this "thing" about other cats in his house. Every time we get a new cat, he becomes all hissy again. He torments Patches to the point of hiding, swats Jet and literally hisses him away from the food bowl, and has made
Dexter scream on various occasions.
He also growls and hisses at people, too. If you hold him too much (he doesn't like to be picked up by anyone but me) or pet him the wrong way, he will make all kinds of noise at you. If you try to pet him while he is frisky, then you better watch out unless you want a bloody hand. He has developed this hook technique that he will use to pull your hand to his mouth. Only if you pop him on the nose he will stop. He likes his stomach rubbed, but rub it the wrong way or pat it excessively, and he will turn on you.
Another thing he likes is hair. Put your head near his face and he will start biting your hair and putting his paw on your head. My sister Hayley, who was 4 at the time this happened, was petting Bundles and suddenly he swatted her hair and clawed her face.
He is a finicky eater, too. He likes
popcorn and bacon bits, but NOT tuna.
He won't eat it. He only likes dry stuff, I guess.
As you can see, Bundles is a very weird cat with meankitty characteristics. He is basically my cat, as the other members of the family don't want to put up with him.
